This study asks the question: How do different people rate the usefulness and relevance of different Websites? We are interested in hearing from anyone who has an interest in prostate cancer Websites.
There are two parts to the study. Part A asks you questions about yourself, your health and your preferences for different kinds of information. Part A takes approximately:
30-40 minutes if you are a man with prostate cancer
20-30 minutes if you are a man at risk for prostate cancer
10-20 minutes if you are a spouse, family member or friend of a man with or at risk for prostate cancer
10-15 minutes if you are an academic researcher in eHealth or health education
1 minute if you are a health care professional
Part B asks you to rate 20 Websites on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Part B can take as little as 10 minutes if you evaluate the Websites quickly or as long as several hours if you choose to spend time exploring each Website in depth.
In total, participating in this study takes an average of 90 minutes, ranging from 11 minutes for health care professionals who make quick Website assessments to several hours for anyone who chooses to spend significant time viewing each Website before rating it.
